Childrens characters gone wild: Cookie Monster' Arrested For Shoving Toddler

A man dressed as the Cookie Monster is accused of shoving a 2 year old over a $2 tip he demanded from the parents.  The Connecticut family posed for a photo with Queens resident Osvaldo Quiroz-Lopez who was dressed as the cookie monster.
The criminal complaint against Quiroz-Lopez is for pushing the toddler and yelling obscenities after the family refused his demand for $2 tip.
'Cookie Monster' Arrested For Shoving Toddler 

Times Square is the epa center for constume characters looking for tips.
Quiroz-Lopez  has no prior arrests and was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and aggressive begging.

Back in December a performer dressed as  Super Mario Brother was accused of groping a woman in Times Square. His case is pending.
